Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026 · Version 1 (draft)
Draft for review. This policy is being finalised with legal counsel before public launch; details in [brackets] are pending confirmation.
1. Principles
FanKeep is a platform where creators share videos, photos and writing with paying fans. Two rules define everything below:
- Legal adult content is allowed. Whether to create it is entirely the creator's choice; it must be self-labeled as adult at upload.
- Illegal content is banned without exception, in every jurisdiction FanKeep operates in, with zero tolerance and active enforcement.
2. Banned content (non-exhaustive)
The following is removed on detection, may earn strikes or immediate termination, and is reported to authorities where the law requires:
- CSAM / minors — any sexual or sexualised depiction of a minor, real or simulated. Immediate quarantine, evidence preservation, NCMEC / law-enforcement reporting, account termination. No strikes, no appeals.
- Non-consensual content — intimate content of any person without their documented consent, revenge material, hidden-camera content.
- Drugs — sale, advertisement or facilitation of controlled substances.
- Weapons & explosives — sale, advertisement, or instructions for firearms, explosive devices or their manufacture.
- Hatred & incitement — content inciting violence or hatred against protected groups, including religious hatred; terrorist or violent extremist content.
- Human trafficking or exploitation in any form.
- Fraud — scams, phishing, impersonation, stolen or infringing content.
- Any other content illegal in the creator's or the platform's jurisdiction.
3. Creator obligations
- Identity verification (KYC) — government ID and age verification are required before anything can be published. Nobody under 18 may create content, appear in adult content, or hold a creator account.
- Self-labeling — every item is labeled adult or mainstream at upload. Mislabeling adult content as mainstream is a strike.
- Co-performer consent — every person appearing in adult content must have a consent record on file (legal name, ID document, signed release) before the item is submitted for review (18 U.S.C. §2257-style record keeping).
4. Enforcement
- Pre-publication review — nothing goes live unreviewed. Every submitted item passes a machine scan chain (CSAM hash-match, prohibited-terms scan, AI content classification, OCR); anything flagged — and all adult content — is additionally reviewed by a human before publication.
- Strikes — policy violations earn strikes. Three strikes suspend the creator's ability to publish. Illegal content removes the item immediately; CSAM terminates the account.
- Takedowns — any person depicted in content may request removal (no account required). Requests are resolved within 7 days; upheld complaints de-publish the content immediately. Denied requesters may re-file with new evidence.
- Cooperation — FanKeep preserves evidence and cooperates fully with law enforcement investigating illegal content.
5. Fan obligations
Fans must not re-distribute, screen-record, or resell creator content; entitlements are personal. Harassment of creators (comments, DMs) is a bannable offence. Attempting to solicit off-platform payment to evade creator earnings is prohibited for both sides.
